Charming with some challenging parts (you'll love the sewers).. Great fun!... Fun game with a good amount of challenge. Short and sweet. short game with tons of check points so your never stuck doing the same thing over and over 4/10. Short and sweet. A really good platformer that all takes place on one giant map\/level, but still has several distinct biomes. You can beat the game in just a few minutes if you know where you're going, but this is a game built for replayability and speedruns. There's three endings- 1) collect all the gems and make it to a special exit, 2) collect all the coins and make it to a special exit, and 3) make it to the 'normal' ending exit. The gems\/coins exit are considerably more difficult, as you might expect.The controls work well, though occasionally they're a bit punishing- you really need pixel-perfect jumps in a few spots. But it never feels unfair. Music is good, but you can turn it off if desired. Graphics are nothing that will blow you away but they serve the game well and have a great retro feel.This isn't just another crappy 2d platformer to idle for cards, this is actually a good game.edit: 11\/28\/2017: A few more notes: The devs are really nice people, the game's music is actually STELLAR (there's hints of Donkey Kong Country here), and more players need to be checking out this game, particularly speedrunners. It's a real gem.. Has a similar feel to retro styled platformers like VVVVVVVV and Super Win the Game, but this one features a small truly open world with no screen transitions. There are no power ups, so it doesn't get that true Metroidvania feel, but that also means all areas are accessible from the begining. No weapons either, just a double jump and some mario style stomping on enemies. There is a difficulty progression though, as you'll have to at least poke your head through a few of the easier areas to get to the hardest sections, and there are a few rage inducing jumping puzzles in there, of course. Now you could just make a made dash from the exit, and call it a day. With this level design there is nothing stopping you, but a lot of the challenge lies and many of the toughest puzzles come from trying to collect all the coins and gems, rounding out a game which otherwise might be a little too quick, and giving you a reason to explore.All in all, I 100% completed this game in around an hour and a half, and I'm by no means an expert.
